International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers

International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers, December 17, is observed annually (www.december17.org).
At our December 18 event we will celebrate the resilience of sex workers while recognising the sex workers whose lives have been lost needlessly to violence. The day calls attention to these issues and the need to remove the social stigma, discrimination, laws and policing practices that make us susceptible to violence and less able to report crime.
We will have some information about our plan to change the laws that get in the way of Queensland sex workers safety.

End of 2017 draws near
