We are Queensland sex workers united to provide a formal medium to communicate sex worker issues and concerns so as to improve the rights of our peers and respond to our workplace health and safety and other needs regardless of gender, age, location, industry sector, legal status, cultural background or linguistic abilities.

Drop in Tuesday

Come and join us on Tuesday afternoons for 'Drop in Tuesday' to have a chat and discuss any industry issues in a safe sex worker friend environment.

We will be conducting workshops for 'new workers' on the 4th Tuesday of each month......commencing Tuesday 25th January, 1pm at our office in Spring Hill

Sexual Health Checks

Sexual Health Services have advised Respect that you need to plan and book in advance to ensure that you receive your sexual health certificates on time.

Sexual Health Certificates...

We have had a few enquiries from workers who think that they can only get their sexual health check and Sexual Health Certificate from a doctor at a Sexual Health clinic. This is NOT the case ....you can ask any doctor you are comfortable with to do your sexual health check and sign the Sexual Health Certificate. The important thing is that they download the "Sexual Health Check - Certificate of Attendance" document from the Queensland Health website (cert_of_attend.pdf).



Christmas Hours

Did you know that under recent amendments to the Prostitution Act 1999, sex industry workers working in licensed brothels are now required to have a sexual health check every 3 months (This replaces the old requirement of a check every 6 weeks). Please see the following pages from the Queensland Legislation website for further details:
